At Retina Specialty Institute, we’re experiencing remarkable growth, expanding our clinical research and new office locations within our coverage area. We are a leading retinal care provider and clinical trials center in the Southeast. We are based on an ambitious growth mindset focused on a legacy of excellence, innovation, and compassionate care spanning over 30 years. As an alternative to private equity, we are transitioning our ownership model to Physician and Employee-Owned entity (ESOP). We did so to incentivize and align all teams and tiers of our practice, which currently boasts a roster of 10 skilled physicians – Drs. Sunil Gupta, Maggie Shuler, John Myers, Ryan Tarantola, Anne Baraano, George Peters, Ahmet Ozkok, Kristine Pierce, Sean Allison, Joseph Crapotta and Rasheed Khan – and multiple office from Panama City, Fl in the east to Biloxi, MS in the west.
Our current ranking as one of the nation’s foremost sites for coveted clinical trials is both a privilege, and an inspirational commitment.
